| Haha American Idiot started the whole Green Day sexyness for me. Sure, I had heard Time of Your Life and Minority and such before, but I didn't know who the hell they were by. Thank God for Much Music. If your not Canadian, don't pay attention to that last part:). Rock on. |

| This is my least favourite Green Day ALBUM. It's become the biggest trend this year. I mean, people here 1 or 2 songs, buy the American Idiot CD and instantly consider themselves a Green Day fan. It's annyoing, to the fans that have been there since the 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours album, and have followed their story, that all these poseurs have come out of the woodwork. They ruined Green Day for me. And they've gone mainstream, which just adds to it. I used to be a HUGE Green Day fan, but now, I hate them. (This song has been OVER PLAYED and over rated.) |

Be quiet Elite. You are too young, as you mentioned your age in your post (shouldn't do that, child, bad people out there), to understand Americans.
I am American, and I believe this song is pretty good, although a lot of it is complete crap. We are NOT all rednecks, for one thing. My father is, but I am not.
But Elite, live here first and learn a bit about America before you make a comment like that, dearie. |

I think that this song absolutley sucks. For someone to say that they like this song they would have to be a canadian, or at least someone that knows nothing about polotics.
I'm no redneck but i can't stand this song. All of you americans say you like this song and they do nothing except bad mouth our country and the way it's set up. The only reason most of you even like it is because it's what's so "popular" at this moment. I dont see how any of you even consider yourselves Americans if you like ths crap. |

| In a time where everyone follows the SUPREME dumbass!! (Prez Bush), this song makes total sense. And it is completely okay to like it, sometimes, just liking a song that says what you are unable to say is the most awsome thing ever!! And yes you can bad mouth America if you live in it. And the reason they say redneck, is because there are soooo many rednecks who are racist, and guess what ppl? STILL a racist country. Don't care what neone says, i see it everyday. |
