i opened it up and asked 'what are you here for?'
i found myself face to face with two punks all dressed in black
they said 'your comin' with us and you don't have time to pack'
they put me in a car that they swore that they had stolen
they didn't say a word until the wheels started rolling
then they said that they were anarchists and i said i was one too
they said 'we'll see about that, and i'd shut up if i were you.'
we got where we were going and we got out of the car
i didn't know where we were though we hadn't gone far
they took me inside the nicest squat i'd ever seen
i could not help but feel like i was inside a machine
they took me to a room where there were people all around
an oak conference table they claimed that they had found
a circle-A seal on the floor under my feet
and at the head of the table someone i thought i'd never meet
he had a black hood on to protect him from the weather
he had vegan clothes made from vegan leather
and as if to assure me that he was not a fed
he had a black flag tattooed on his forehead
he was dressed in black from his head to his tow
he took a sip from his molotov and then he said 'hello'
he had all the right books there on the bookshelf
i could tell right away it was the Anarch himself.
and he said “we are the House Un-Anarchist Activities Committee”
and we've got some questions for you
we are on to your deceit, so if you'll just have a seat
we'll tell you what we're gonna do.
well mr. greer it just so happens we hear
a few nasty things about you
that you live with your parents in a bougie suburb
and you're going to college too
and we know that you like alanis morrisette
and you can't even use a slingshot
we hear you've got a friend who campaigned for kerry
and you've never lived in a squat
we know that you consort with liberals
and help 'em out from time to time
and you ought to know that our records show
you don't commit your quota of crime
and mr. greer we gravely fear
you've had counter-revolutionary thoughts
we know this might seem harsh to you
but we've got a war that must be fought
we're sure that you must just feel blue
about all the things that you've done wrong
but our time is short and we've got a report
