Break, The - Profit Motive Lyrics |
| Submitted by: AUTO-ADD |
| Current Rating: None | | It's not enough to say it on the radio, to strike that feeling, and say it out loud. Send the analysts reeling turn from their noise and make up your own mind. The dream they sell is for profit, but ours is a world away. And so what's this feeling? Are they so afraid? We'll never fall again, for the comfortable lie, It's a made-up world that they've never seen, and neither will you or I. We'll never fall again, and now at least we know why. The bitter things the future brings can add some meaning to our lives. It's not enough, to take it with me where I go, the constant feeling, that it's not okay. So why this seething counterculture? Refusal of consent? Because we hear panic, in response to what we say. And so, what's this feeling, are we so afraid, what's this feeling? Is it outrage? We'll never fall again, for the comfortable lie, It's a made up world the things I'd rather see, they surround me in real life, We'll never fall again, and now we know they know why, we raise our voice, we're discontent, and we're fighting to get by To bring some meaning to our lives. |
