Coming in to this review, I fortunately hadn't heard much of or from TBS, aside from what emerald had told me of them. So basically, this was my first time hearing them, let alone the CD full through.

Unfortunately, the album starts of with my least favorite song from the album, You Know How I do. The vocals weren't too bad, but the lyrics came off uninspired to me, with such things as 'so sick so sick of being tired and oh so tired of being sick'....yea, and I’m so sick of that damned line in so many songs! Anyhow, once you survive the opener, things start to get interesting with 'Bike scene'. All in all it's a solid track and keeps you interested, and the female vocals towards the end of the song are pretty good. From this point, things start to pick up steam with the best track on the whole album, 'Cute Without The E'. It's pretty damn catchy first off, and it just has a certain...melo intensity(...sure :-P) to it, not to mention the vocals are great. 'There's No I in Team' comes in a close second as one of the greatest tacks on the album, with great guitar parts and an incredibly emotional performance. Sadly, the CD loses some of its momentum with 'Great Romances', which starts with a non-intended hilarious intro of Michael Rapaport (the guy just makes me laugh ok!). After laughing from the realization of Mike on the intro, the transition into the song is pretty weak, but picks up somewhat after that, needless to say this is not a favorite.

From there out, TBS brings a solid lineup of strong vocals and some pretty good melody. Some of my favorites not highlighted are 'Ghost Man on 3rd', 'Timberwolves at New Jersey' and 'You're So Last Summer'. Bottom line, this is a good CD with some pretty inspiring vocals, and pretty much no filler tracks. So thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever that hell else you wanna give it, it's definatly buy worthy.
