With so many solo artists releasing cookie cutter dashboard tunes, it's hard to find an acoustic act that stands out among the rest. foreverDOWN does exactly that, managing to stand out just fine. Writing what he lives and living what he writes, Casey Britt, the sole member of foreverDOWN, is reaching people everywhere.
Casey began writing as foreverDOWN in May 2003 after the demise of his former band "Three's Too Many." Since then he has fine tuned his skills and has an EP (August 2003) as well as a full length (March 2004) under his belt. The EP, "You Are Beautiful," and the full length, “Life Alone is No Life At All,” have gained vast popularity over the internet and have sold copies all over the US, Canada, and England. Since its release the EP has sold out. The first full length, "Life Alone is No Life at All," was foreverDOWN’s second independent release and will be followed by another full length release in 2005.
In December of 2004 Casey returned to the studio and spent several weeks recording for the next release. This full length album is titled “Fall Bares Branches, Birds Leave No Bark,” and will be a must have for any acoustic lover. The album features 10 solid tracks of catchy melodies, powerful vocals singing intricate and meaningful lyrics, and beautiful guitar parts. The album is slated for an April 19th release. With new tracks currently online, the new album is already getting a lot of attention.
foreverDOWN has also done incredibly well online. Since joing PureVolume.com, foreverDOWN has established a spot as one of the top unsigned bands of PureVolume with nearly 300,000 plays to go with it.
foreverDOWN is currently playing shows around the Southeast with plans to do some more extensive national touring starting in the summer of 2005. So look out for foreverDOWN in a town near you. You won’t want to miss it!
