The band Evermore came together officially in the early summer of the year 2004 in New Jersey. The members Mike Sullivan, Dave Dariani, Chris Glowacki and Vladamir Karvacky each share the same dream and passion for their music. Each contributes slightly different ideas to their work making the music hard to relate to anything. Mike and Chris tend to throw in some sounds from the punk rock and early rock times, while Dave and Vlad tend to add more mellow beats influenced by Coldplay and U2. Their sounds can take you from being completely relaxed to a simple yet upbeat tempo making you want tap the beat with your feet. With lyrics ranging from lost love to political views about the world, many stories told can be related to by a wide variety of listeners.
One goal each member believes is, “Simplicity is beauty�. Simplicity they say allows you to focus in on the song more as a whole rather than being drawn to one dominating instrument. This allows every member to have an equal yet important job.
Confined to a garage, they began to make song after song. In August of 2004, an opportunity arose and the band recorded their first EP called Hunter Street with a friend Chris Caiazza who both mixed and produced it. This EP had six tracks including the songs, Save Us from Ourselves, The Answer, Poverty in Paradise, Break Down the Walls, Poison Lips and Make it Through. Now that the band had their first CD, promoting it was going to be very important.
Although they have only been together for a short time, their song "Poison Lips" has already have been put on Drive-Thru Records and Purevolume.com's international compilation "Bands you love, have heard of, and should know." They also have won a sponsership competition and are now sponsered by Renegade Print Shop.
During Christmas break of 2005, they were again able to go to the studio and record five more tracks with Chris Caiazza releasing their second EP called Something Normal. The songs include, Sunset Till Disaster, Inside of Me, Moments Stand Still and Curtain Call.
Although there time together has been short, they are quickly rising to new levels and showing growth in their music.
